Back Again

I haven't posted in SOOOOOOO long. I've been really busy from getting back to school, winter break and a lot of other plans on the side. Anyway, I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas/ Hanukkah and an exciting new year! I didn't travel anywhere, but my mom and sister went to Colorado for the holidays to vist family. But in the spirit of only watching HGTV over break my post today is a revealing of my room redesign that took place weeks and weeks ago. I'm sad that I'm just now getting around to posting, but I promise I'll get back into the swing of things soon enough. So first things.... (first):

Green Galore

I told you I would post about my favorite blogs, but plans have changed. I'm in a room re-design mood :D Over this Thanksgiving break I'm re-doing my room & I'm very excited! Right now it's very this and that with no specific color scheme. I have a twin bed and this weekend I'm upgrading to a queen bed :) I got the mattress and box spring brand new from Craiglist for $140- what a steal- And I bought a new bedding off of Ebay for $40 + S&H. Now i have a new bed and complete bedding set for about $200. I'm so inspired by these rooms & this is the theme i want to go for:




And this is the bedding i bought from Ebay- it comes with everything you see there minus the 3 pillows in the front

La miette

I thought I'd start my 2nd post with some food. My absolute favorite place to check in every once in a while is the Miette Bakery. They have the cutest little cakes, candies, pies, and cupcakes! The store is located in San Fransisco, but that is not stopping me from visiting. The store even hosts children's birthday parties!
